Folic acid is mainly for pregnant women to give them more folic acid. They need it more during pregnancy because it prevents serious birth defects, like spinal and brain decects. You can get all the folic acid you need from leafy green veggies, Orange juice and enriched grains.

u can use it and it should help you later in life when you deside 2 have kids :)

Your body always needs folic acid. If I remember it is in the Vitamin B's. Folic acid is what makes cells. It is mandatory to making a human person.

I think that a lack of Folic acid or B complex vitamins prior to conception and during pregnancy can cause Spina Bifida.
It is an open hole usually next to the spine causing paralysis.

Take a really good Multi Vitamin every day so should you
"become" pregnant you will have a healthy baby. Make certain it has folic acid in it.
