Im taking folic acid its been 3 months how long does it to get preg help?

My husband and I both took a folic acid supplement when I had my first. It took about a month. But I was alot younger then. We weren't away folic acid could increase fertility and odds of conception. Keep at it and maybe add some B-12. That ups your fertility too. Good for you for being responsible about fertility and taking it beforehand. Your giving your future baby the best start possible.

It depends on the person... go get checked out and make sure everything is in order

it will depend on the individual on how long it will take to fall pregnant! after 6 moths i would get it checked out! usually when you dont focus too hard thats when your most relaxed less stressed....then you may fall more easily then!!

A new study says women who want to get pregnant should take a folic acid supplement for a year beforehand. This will reduce the risk of premature birth. The supplement also helps reduce the risk of birth defects.

I found this article about vitamins to take, and dietary changes to make, while attempting to have a baby: http://www.babycenter.com/0_trying-to-co...
It looks sensible.

Couples who are trying to conceive should seek medical advice after trying for a year with no results.
