Fluid in Ear for Adults? |
I went to the dr. on wednesday and I asked him to look into my ears. I had just gotton over a sinus infection and my ears were feeling full. He said the left ear had some fluid in it but it was clear and not an infection. I had just stopped my antibiotics the day before. He didn't really tell me anything to do for it. Yesterday I was getting a bit dizzy but nothing too bad. This afternoon I'm feeling quite dizzy, especially when I lay my head down. My ear still feels full. Could it have turned into an infection or is it just the fluid sloshing around in there? Did you just stop the antibiotics, or had you used them all? If you stop them only because you feel better, most of the infection has been killed, but so have your body's natural defenses, so it can come back worse than the first time. Everytime my doctor sees fluid in my ear she tells me to take suddafed...why? I have no idea...she just does. I'd go back to him and tell him about the dizzyness it could be more than just fluid in the ear. I would call my doctor ASAP!!! |
