Ear fluid buildup?

hi everyone, i have been suffering from pressure in my ear and a slight ringing that can be noticed with silence. i went to the doctor and she said that i have a fluid buildup in that ear but not an infection. she put me on antibiotics and clearitan D. its been 3 days and its still the same symptoms.

does fluid buildup cause ear ringing? and how long before it clears up?

thanks

You should give the meds more than 3 days to work. After about 7 days, if the symptoms are still there go back to the doctor. She may recommend that you go see an Ear/Nose/Throat Doctor.

Good luck & hope you feel better soon!

Yes that will cause ringing. Give it about 5 days total. If you aren't better by the time your anti's are done call Doc back

fluid buildup if I'm not mistaken can cause ear ringing. If you feel that your doctor isn't helping you much regarding this then you might want to go see an Ear, Nose, Throat Specialist cause they may be able to help you more.
