Low Amniotic Fluid???

Morning everyone...
Im hoping someone can help me out with my concern.
I am 33 wks pregnant and last week my doctor was worried cause my belly is measuring too small. She sent me for another ultrasound and the results were that I am below the normal amount of amniotic fluid that I should have. I have to go for another ultrasound next week cause they are to monitor me now to see if the amount I am now holding drops even lower. They told me my angel was ok but of course im gonna worry.
What exactly does all this mean? Can anyone relate to what i am going thru?
What can happen if the fluid amount drops even lower?

Anyone Please........

Thank you for taking the time to read this, Good day and God Bless.

Hi Although I am not really sure what causes the fluid to be low there is probably not much you can really do except to remain hydrated. If the fluid drops to an unacceptably low level then you may have to induced/ c section early. I do know ladies who have had this happen. 33 weeks is a bit too early but closer to 37 weeks was when they went in. The babies were just fine- they were small obviously but healthwise OK. There are sure to be ways that your doctor can intervene if the fluid drops too low before you are at the stage where delivery would be safe to deliver or have a c section. Good luck.

According to this, there could be lots of reasons (some of them causing a lot of concern)
