Fluid in my knee...but it doesnt hurt?

I do BMX racing and I've had some pretty bad crashes, mostly involving my left knee. Well i can tell there's fluid in my knee, but my knee doesn't hurt, pop, grind or anything like that. I don't know if it's serious enough to go to the doctor for because I don't want to be told I shouldn't race for however long. BMX is my life and IDK what I would do if I couldn't ride. Please Help me!

go to the doctor. he will poke a needle in you and let the fluid drain. dont do it yourself so that it doesnt get infected. it doesnt hurt. then just make sure to put some ice on it afterwards. i dont know your condition of your knee. but if it is weak or hurt then i suggest you get a knee brace to wear. (past experience, soccer.)

Have had my knee drained several times...not a fun thing but it never kept me off my feet...if you have no pop or feel a catch I would think a simple draining would be enough...though there may be an underlying problem you should know about...good luck
