Fluid in ear (from eustachian tube)?

How do you get rid of draining fluid from your eustachian tubes? My ear is blocked and the doctor said it would drain on it's own, but it is not. I have tried decongestants, and holding my nose and blowing but it won't pop. Thanks.

Use drops that are made for swimmers to dry up the excess fluid.

Excess fluid, causes vertigo for me.

Go back to the doctor and complain. You don't want to pop your eardrum.
