Fluid-filled lip blisters?! What is it?

okay i read about many answers but the problem is that mine isn't painful! all the med articles stated the pain as part of the symptoms. and the blisters are gathering at the top right side of my lips. i have occasionally dry chapped lips. usually i'll use vaseline lip moisturiser [white petroleum] but now i use lip ice as well. positive it's not from kissing someone. water coolers? now there are many many small bumps on my lower lip, but not clustered. itchy when i touch them. the fluid will drain and the crust and it'll crack sometimes too. help!

If I were you, I'd go and see my doctor. Regardless of what anyone says here, it's important that you seek the aid of a professional. Plus, even though you may get an idea as to what it may be, here on Yahoo Answers, you'll still need to confirm it with a professional in order to treat it. Otherwise, it may get worse.

Sounds like a cold sore

The source below discusses various lip problems.

this happened to my friend last year it was like she popped a canker sore and while it was healing it filled up w/ spit and then so she went to the dentist to see if they could figure it out and she had to get it burned off so go see your dentist and have them figure it out

Oh, that's herpes, or cold sores. They don't always come from colds you know, you can get them from chapped lips. I get them every 6 months or so. They don't hurt, they are just blistery and form a crust that cracks when you smile and stuff. As soon as you get them go to your doctor so they can get you some perscription pills. They can only give it to you though if you talk to them within 24 hours of finding them. Trust me the medication works. :)

If it happens quite a bit it may be perioral dermatitis. I used to get it all the time. Go see your dermatologist and they can give you medication for it. In the mean time put alcohol on it. You can research perioral dermatitis. It's itchy and uncomfortable, but not life threatening. It's an infection. Good luck!

you can pop it with a needle but clean it first.it will go away .i get them to when the seasons are changeing.if u pop it, with the needle it will go away.wont hurt!waterish looking stuff will come out.

Sounds like impetigo, but it's pretty unusual for adults to get it.
