Flu Shot/Flu Mist Question?? I need professional opinion? |
I went to the clinic to get my Flu shot, and the nurse gave me the Flu Mist. she was a total bi*ch and gave me no instructions except to hold my head back and inhale the mist. Afterwards I spoke to another nurse and I complained. I had a cold at the time so I dont even know if the mist got in to my system because of my nasal congestion. Then she told me I shouldnt blow my nose or spit, which I had already done because my cold was really bad at the time. SO now I think that the flu vaccine didnt even get in me and I want to go back and get a shot done but I dont know if its safe to get the mist AND the shot, and I dont even know if the mist vaccine got in my system after I blew my nose, can someone please tell me what you know about this and if the mist was ok for me during a cold or is it ok to get a shot even thought i already had the mist?? The mist application is usually given to children and adolescents. I never gave either the shot or the mist, but I was talking to a friend of mine who is still currently a nurse and she told me it probably took fine in your case. |
