Flu and tetanus shots?

I am going to my Dr. today to get a flu shot.
The last couple flu shots I got made my arm very sore, can I get the flu shot in my butt instead of my arm?
Which site will the flu shot hurt the worst,in the arm or butt?
Also, can I get my tetanus shot in the butt, and where would it hurt the worst, the arm or butt?
Thanks in advance for the advice.

The pain of an injection is generally not caused by the site, it can be caused by various factors. Ask your doc to use a small gauge needle, or a HIGH PRESSURE PISTOL FOR MASSIVE INOCULATION (IF HE HAS IT) , ask for an injection in your butt, and hope he does not touch a nerve end.
