The flu shot and heart conditions? |
My son has a heart condition and is at high risk. I always get the flu shot along with him. BUT my husband (my sons step father) refuses to get the flu shot. (he is petrified of needles) I know the shot isnt 100% bullet proof. So I was wondering if my hubby was to actually catch the flu this year could my son catch the flu as well since of course we all live in the same household, even thou my son has had the vaccination. I've read that if you live in the same household as a high risk child that everyone should be vaccinated. So does anyone know if its possible for him to get the flu even though hes been vaccinated? Thanks in advance for your help. Don't they have nasal shots. Not needles but they put something up the nose & squirt it. Ask your family physicain. |
