Flu or something else. help?

7 days ago now i starting running a high fever and all the clasic flu symptoms. Went to the clinic doctor diagnosied it as the flu. Symptoms should be gone by at least 6 days.
It is now day 7 and my thoart is really sore, wakes me up at night, super congested and cough up yellow phlgem.
I had just gotten over pneumonia 1 week before the flu.
Should i be going back to the doctors i was a pretty healthy 20yr old before i got sick. HELP!!!

GO TO THE DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!! You seem very sick, this is bad. I just got over the flu, but it was nothing as bad as what you described! Please go to a doctor like today for your own good! I really don't want you to get any sicker even though I don't know you! Ok, GO TO THE DOCTOR!!!

Did you take all your meds until gone from the pneumonia. some people stop as soon as they feel better and then they get sick again.

You need to go back to the Dr. I had pneumonia and relapsed. It put me in the hospital. The infection you have may be tolerant of the antibiotics they gave you. Sometimes it takes two rounds of meds to cure a bad infection or a totally different type of antibiotics. Go back to the Dr.
