Flu shot after the Flu?

If a person has already had the Flu once during a season, does it do any good to go ahead and get the Flu shot afterward?

As long as you still do not have the flu it is okay to get the flu shot. Still no guarantee you won't get the flu as there are so many strains of the flu.

just find out what strain of flu the shot vaccinates against, and find out what strain of flu you had, and if they're not the same strain then go ahead and get the flu shot.

No, besides the flu shot is the most stupid shot given anyway. It is not that effective for children and older people and those inbetween do not really need it anyway.
You are immune because your body went through the illness. You will just subject yourself to mercury and aluminum and possibly formaldehyde. Why would anyone want that? These are not healthy substances to put in your body.

I've never been a fan of flu shots. You immune system is just like any other muscle in your body. The more work it gets, the stronger it gets. When you start letting medications do all of the work (and there is actually no real evidence that they do anyway) your body begins to depend on them, thus weakening your immune system in the long run. They really should only be taken by the elderly who already have weak immune systems.

There are different strains of the flu. If it were me, I'd go ahead and get that flu shot. It may protect you from a totally different strain that you had.

not really
