Flu and food?

I think I have picked up a flu- bug, which I have never had.

I have had a few allergic reactions within the past week, and I have started to get sicker as time goes on.

Could the reactons have caused my immune system to weaken enough to pick up a flu or something.Or is it just my body simply being exhausted?

I have a fever, and I haven't been able to hold down food yet today.I am so sore everywhere. I haven't felt this sick since I had mono a few years ago.

My other question is, what do you eat and keep down when you get hit with the flu? so far, gateraid is all I can do.

It varies between high 99s and low 100's

i've had that since this morning. I've had a slight fever since I first started to have reactions.

Gatorade is good to drink since it has what you need electrolytes.... also try hot tea... when i am sick i drink the lemon or the orange and blackberry.. also warm ginger ale...Vernor's..

I don't think you have the flu. Not many people know this but the influenza virus does not produce vomiting. Only aches and pains. If you are running a fever, you need to be seen by a doctor. How high is your fever and how long have you been running it?
The food and drink that always works for me, when I have been vomiting, is chicken noodle soup, saltine crackers, and sprite or 7up. In small amounts. If you are vomiting a lot, you want to make sure to drink as much liquids as you can to keep yourself hydrated.

i think you will be fine it may seen bad now but once you get rest and eat a lot of warm soup then you will feel at least 10 times better
