Flu Symptoms for 2 year old?

What are the flu sympptoms for a 2 year old. My sister has the flu and when i saw her yesterday she was kissing on her (didn't know she had the flu) know my daughter has a temprature of 100.4 (alreaady gave tylenol) and is whining.

She can't throw up because she has the Nissen Fundoplication. Which makes it so she can't throw up. She also gets really high fevers (103 and higher when she is sick) on a regular basis. I am trying to wait and see what is going to happen with her fever to see if I need to take her to the ER.

Same as an adult. Fever, etc. Keep track of her fever. If it gets really high (102-104) call the dr. right away. Give tylenol or another childrens fever reducer and keep her cool. If it is viral, it has to take its course. Dr's dont like to give meds to kids unless absolutely necessary b/c of getting too immuned to the meds. Bacterial needs antibiotic.

Its so hard to seeyour baby sick but it has to takes its course. If your place is dry, use a humidifier. If she is coughing, put vicks on her feet WITH socks. Stops coughing.

It is the flu if her fever gets high, she either throws up or gets the runs. Keep and eye on her. Make sure to give her plenty of fluids and get her to rest.

She is probably cranky because of the fever. Tylenol is good but try to get her a sick appt. with her doctor tommorrow. She could also have dry lips which isan indication she has internal fever. And maybe puffy red eyes.....And get used to it Hon it won't be the last...!
