I MIGHT HAVE THE FLU...... PLEASE ANSWEr?

last year i had the flu, and this year i got the flu shot.
well now, i feel exactly like the day before it got really bad last year.....

i am aching all over [kind of sore] and there is no way i could have gotten sore other than the flu because i havent worked out in forever. my throat is basically throbbing and my head is to. my fever is almost 100. im not sneezing or my nose isnt running. i also have chills.... something tells me it's not the flu but i dont know.
my parents do NOT believe me that this is how i felt last year. they're like "youre fine, go to school". it sucks and i can't bear it. could it be the flu?

yes it can be the flu. Flu viruses are not one, they're many mainly A B and C. So the flu shot may not cover all these viruses and also its success is not totally guaranteed 100%.

Yes. that is exactly how the flu feels. It's a shame your parents don't beleive you. Perhaps you can get the school nurse to make them understand. Does your back feel "Pinchy?" I really hate that, and it's the first sign of a flu coming on. Flu shots in my opinion don't help at all.
