Do flu shots help?? |
Some of my friends who got flu shots have gotten the flu, (and the extreme pain afterwards) other people who didn't get the shot didn't get the flu that year, is this just random?? it all depends on the body and how healthy they are and in shape....the Dr's never know what strand of the flu is there untill it is actually here so its hard to come up with a vaccine....but they do get somewhat close and this seems to help most because the vaccine is a weak amount of the flu that the body can easily destroy and build up the immune system to the actual flu.....some people react differently but a person that is healthy and excercises and is in shape ''normally'' has no problems from the flu even though they claim they did have problems....normally this is a cause and effect from something else they attracted in the meantime. Flu shots increase your body's resistance to the flu virus. NOTHING is 100% sure all the time. It increases your resistance. It lowers the chances of contracting flu. That's it. Yes.They can't hurt.I find it works wonders/ |
