Black Spot when I look up?? Don't think its a floater...? |
Last week, my right eye felt a little sore....when squinting or when rubbing it, I felt a little pain and soreness. A couple days later, the soreness was completely gone, but woke up to noticing a black spot (black on the outside, greyish on the inside) only when looking up and to the right. Any ideas as to what this could be, should it be dismissed as a floater or should I be a little more worried? Thanks in advance. I have floaters but they are grey and look like raindrops. I am not sure what's going on with you but my advice would be to go have an opthalmologist have a look, just to be on the safe side (I did, when I first got floaters, as I was worried too, since I have a lot, and I was so glad I went). Good luck! you may be noticing a blind spot on your eye i have a black spot on my eye that i notice once in awhile too its normal You could be going blind... no joking... that is one of the signs. See your doctor and tell him about it. If it happens again I would worry. If not you are probley right There is a normal blind spot you usually don't notice, for each eye I think it is (see link), but I suggest you seek the advice of an eye doctor or family doctor. Could well be nothing, but vision is important. Good luck. |

It is possible that it is related to xanax. Hard to tell for sure. This document on the web ... What? They do not get things like that wrong, ...I have them too - I usually only notice them when I'm looking at a white wall or white paper but they are VERY annoying!!! My mom and aunt have them too so they must be somewhat common. ...I have had them since I was kid. As far as I know, they don't cause problems other than the fact that they bug the crap out of yo... You need to see an eye doctor right away.
