Which is the healthier poo, a floater or a sinker?

Sometimes my poo floats and sometimes it sinks and sometimes it is a combo deal. Can I use this to gauge whether I'm eating healthy or not?

I was told that a(firm) floater is healthier.I'm not sure why maybe a sinker has been inside longer and has less air in.But that's a guess

it is healthy if it is shaped like the letter s.

floaters are full of gas and fat!

Get the poo out of the toilet and take it with you to Autozone. They will put it on the bench and run a free diagnostic on it. They will recommend whether or not your fluids need to be changed.

lol the floater is healthiest. In health circles, floating stools
usually mean good...this means there is enough water and fiber and looseness in them and they pass through easily. If they sink, it means they have been compacted and perhaps there is not enough fiber (too much meat and sugar).

if you are pooping on a regular basis at least once a day, then you are eating right. (stay regular, eat alot of foilage)

Uhh, ew!

No you can t use this to know if you are healthy or not, it means absolutely nothing! Sometimes it s light other times it s not, sometimes it s big sometimes it comes out in small pieces... as long as you do it maximum 3 times a day or minimum 3 times a week then you are healthy! As long as it s not black (means internal bleeding) or it doesn t have worms in it then you are fine! Do not worry about it :)

First of all, you should be having a bowel movement every single time you eat a meal. Health experts have proven that. After all, if its being put in you, something should also be coming out. Doesn't it make sense that if you eat three times a day, you should also excrete three times daily?

That being said, I was told in Biology class, almost ten years ago now, that 'sinkers' as you call them meant you were not getting enough fiber in your diet. I suggest three things: taking a multivitamin to make sure you have the right minerals and vitamins in your system, drinking lots of water, and finally at least 5 servings of fiber each day (including fruits and veggies). Try to lower your intake of red meats, and substitute grains.
