I hate floaters....?

About a month ago, my eye floater increase rapidly in my vision, from 1 or 2, to about 30 floaters... This is followed by many stars or lights that move around in my vision... Is there really no chance to remove the floaters? It's quite annoying for me to read or observe a specimen from microscope... I heard that there may be an operation or use laser to remove it.. Izit true? In addition, I wear glasses and I alr changed it 2 months ago...

you need to go to an eye doctor , u r describing dangeous symtoms , feel free to e-mail me

A rapid increase in the number of floaters, especially when accompanied by flashes of lights can mean that a hole has developed in your retina (the back of your eye). The floaters may be red blood cells.

I would advise seeing an eye doctor right away. A small hole can let fluid under your retina leading to a larger retinal detachment which, if not fixed quickly can lead to permanent eye damage. If you have a small hole, it can often be fixed with just laser, and sometimes by putting some air into the eye.

If the floaters are just floaters (parts of the vitreous) they will usually go away with time.

Go see an eye doctor right away to make sure something more serious is not going on!!

Now, I could be interpreting this completely wrong, but you said, "this is followed...." To me, this implies that it happens, not that it was a one-time occurance. If this is true, the lights and stars could be migraine auras. I'm not saying that I don't agree with the other answers because I believe that they know what they are talking about, but you may want to see your family doctor about migraines if the eye doctor doesn't see a threat.

yeah those 2 top answers kinda suck interms of making you worry. Dont i have the same problem sometimes they arnt visible and sometimes they are ive been to an eyes doctor lots of times with these symptoms and they havent found nothing. But if i wer you just go c ure doctor he/she will no what is best gd luck

This sounds likes a retinal detachment, which is an ocular emergency. Go see your eye doctor ASAP.

this sounds really bad u need to get to a eye dr asap
