You are a bit young to be having significant floater problems, it might be worth getting your GP to refer you to an ophthalmologist for assessment. As soon as I can translate what you asked into the Queens English I will attempt an answer. http://www.allaboutvision.com/conditions... Are you very short sighted. Floaters aren't dangerous - in layman's terms small bits of the substance that makes up your eye cuts loose and what you see is it's shadow when it passes in front of your retina. You're still very young and floaters don't go away. if you wish to avoid seeing more of them avoid strenuous exercises, lifting heavy objects and even jogging. I'm sorry to tell you this but check out your eyes again people who are prone to this kind of thing are more susceptible to retinal detachment. i used to get these too, i have no idea what they are but my guess is they are tiny bits of dust or pollen that get in your eyes. use a sterile irrigating solution to rinse your eyes if its irritating you, its pretty much distilled water so cant make anything worse. you should be able to get it from your local chemists Debris, you will have to live with them, some go, some do not. Nothing can be done about them, forget laser treatment. I used to have these, but not any more, I was told there is no remedy, you must check with boots optician if live in UK, or ask your GP, I think Moorfield eye hospital in London has an advice line and give advice over the phone I suffer from this in both eyes. I was certain it was a high blood pressure related effect. However, when I asked my GP he advised me to visit my optician. It is nothing to fret about. Try not to worry and have an eye check. They will put your mind at rest. Good luck. Floaters are very common; especially in near-sighted people. I have them too. I got one in my lright eye when i was 12. I was told by my optition that it was common. I've got two now in right eye, my opt. said it was becos i am very short sighted (i can see bout 15cm clearly in front of my face, and everything after that is a mass of colour) he also said becos i have Astigmatism, it made them worse. DO NOT try and concentrate looking at the dots/floaters as they can cause horrid headaches. I know i tried lol. Ummm... my Optition also said, cos i have diabetes in my family, they can be a sign of onset of it as the eyes contain the first sign of diabetes. But he said i didn't have it!! Go to your optition asap if u have anymore concerns! xxx The first answer really made me giggle! I had floaters in my right eye after a martial arts accident when I sustained a concussion. It gradually got worse and my retina was starting to detach itself so I had to have laser eye syrgery to re-attach it. Having said that, I have a friend who also has floaters over both eyes but her vision is severely impaired anyway and there is nothing she can do about hers. If I were you, I would get it checked out double quick just to be on the safe side. Boots Opticians are really good as is what used to be called The Eye Clinic (now Optical Express). I get them sometimes, i told my optician about it and he said it was normal and nothing to worry about. |
