Is there treatment for eye floaters resulting from diabetes? |
Two years ago during eye exam, large floaters were found in my eyes. Now I have been diagnosed with diabetes and discovered that floaters are a symptom of this disease. Is there a treatment for these floaters? Also, I now need to know what to eat and how often. I am not on insulin. I am on Metformin. I need to lose weight and feel that this will certainly happen as I cut down on starches and sugars. Is there anything else I have to be careful about? Are there any websites that I can go to for help, especially with meal preparation as it pertains to family. Thank you for your answers. I'll tell you this... since controlling my diabetes with a very healthy, nutrient rich, natural foods diet and daily mild exercise, my eyesight has improved noticeably, my weight has plummeted, my need for Metformin has vanished and my blood sugar readings are always normal (unless I stray back into unhealthy "refined or fortified" manufactured foods), my male stamina has improved, my indigestion is gone, I no longer snore, my back problems went away, my skin texture is like it was twenty years ago, my energy level has increased noticeably, my fibromyalgia is all but gone... well, I think you might be getting the picture. Read more here: There is no treatment for floaters. I also do not know why you are saying that they are a sign of diabetes. Floaters are very common in all people, not just people with diabetes. Here is a link for more information. http://www.allaboutvision.com/conditions... I have floaters! I'm only 24 and I'm completely healthy!! As far as I know, you can get laser treatments for floaters, but they say that it could make them worse. I've learned to deal with mine. I have TONS too. :( They suck! |
