Help about Floaters?

Alright, so I have floaters, they annoy the heck out of me. The other day I was at swim practice and got out of the pool, and then I felt really dizzy and my eye vision was really blurry, Ive now noticed when I move my head I get grey moving floaters. Yes, I have been to the eye doctor and she said there was nothing to worry about cause my eyes were fine. Anyone have any feedback?

My dad has floaters, but he was born in 1939. You don't sound old enough to have them. Dad's doc says they are not reversible, not curable. He just has to live with them. HUGE bummer, since he loves to read.

If there is no cure, bummer for you, too, but I would get another doctor! Your current one is missing something. (a brain?)

General suggestions:

wear good, UV blocking, polarized sunglasses when outside or near bright light. (I have 3 pair, and keep a pair in my car at all times. They're prescription UV blocking polarized with scratch resistant lens Bolles and I can't live without them!)

Wear the sunglasses on cloudy days, especially. And if you're near snow, I don't need to tell you...

See an opthamologist, not an optometrist. Opthamologists are actual eye surgeons, and are more highly trained and skilled. Optometrists are the guys at Wal-Mart who tell you how thick your glasses need to be.
