Floaters in eyes? |
I've been having floaters in my eyes especially my right (which is my worse eye) I am 25 and have worn glasses for distances only since I was 18. I had an eye exam in Dec. 06. In which the doctor told me my finished had changed sightly, but nothing severe and he looked behind my eyes and said there was nothing there. The floaters come and go. I might not have them for awhile and than they will come back for a while. My brother and dad also have the same thing and were told they were nothing. I recently have been experiencing a lot of problems with my jaw and bite and am wearing a bite plate. (I am been checked for TMJ) could that have anything to do with these floaters? I thought more times than not these floaters came with age, but is 25 too young to have them. I am also being monitored for high blood pressure, not sure if that would have anything to do with it either. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks just read about that while waiting for my eye exame...If floats just show uo, and havnt had before, you need to inform the doctor, just in case I have floaters terribly in both eyes. They came on suddenly. I have been to two ophthamologists and they assure me that they are normal. They are more common with aging but young people can get them too. They can be associated with MS (multiple sclerosis).....I have read that to be true. floaters usually are nothing but since you are concerned, ask your doctor--not us. these floaters can be a sign of a torn retna. please go to your dr. right away. |
