Eye Floaters? (aka Squiggly Line(s) in your Eyes)? |
Okay, im 12 and I am already wearing glasses (since about 2 or 3 grade. Well, these floaters (the squiggly lines in your eye fluid) have suddenly increased this year and i only have about a few but im worried this may be a problem. What can I do to stop this? Is it dangerous to have this at a young age? HELP! I use to see them every once in a while when i was little. But now I see them dailysince this/last year!!! Regardless of age, anyone having a sudden increase in floaters or flashes should get an eye exam. Floaters are experienced by many people, especially as you age because the gel in the back of your eye naturally turns into a more liquid state. However, a sudden increase in floaters is an important symptom. There is nothing you can do to stop them. If they are getting worse, I would get an eye exam. this may mean a detatched retina. very serious see an ophthalmologist. If you have diabetes, VERY SERIOUS! If you don't have diabetes have you been checked for it? |
