Floaters in my eyes???

I have floaters in my eyes and I had seen a doctor, she told me go to doctor right away once you find the floaters increase. I just get worry that it might get worse, is there a high chance that it might increase over time??? thax.

Floaters are just cellular debris thats inside your eye ball. It may or may not increase, you willl probably notice that these floaters are more noticeble when you look at something bright like the sky. I dont think its anything to worry about unless you are are experiencing other symptoms such as flashing lights, I been seeing these floaters as a kid and it doesnt really bother me. In fact most people see them.

hmmmmmmmm i thought some floaters are normal, i have had them ever since i can remember.............

Floaters are normal. If they increase it's because you may have a detached retina which rarely happens. She's scaring you unnecessarily.

I don't think they're dangerous...I've had them for years too...eye doc said its normal.

One of the symptoms of retinal detachment is the presence of floaters. It might increase over time. Click on the link and read on.

I did soe volunteer work last summer, with the guys from Give the GIft of Sight and I was an interpreter....I think 70% of the people that came that wekk to the free consultaions asked about this. And all doctors said it was a natural thing. So no need to worry about.

My eye Doctor told me the same thing. If you see an increase in them let your doctor know because it could be a sign of a more serious Eye condition.
