Headache and vision floaters?

i had a uti and went to the er and the er doctor said the presurre headache is because of the infection and i am seeing floaters.
am i just stressed. er doc did not see it necessary to do mri.
still have a pressure headache. could it just be stress

could be a migrane but needs to be thoroughly checked out. Could be, worse case, a tumor, stroke, etc. Get to your regular doc and get checked.

I know a lot of people who have had sinus pressure type headaches without any congestion this year. Maybe it's like that?

Could be. Floaters and headaches can occur independent of each other. You may just notice them more when your head hurts. When some people have migraines they see floaters or light flashes or aura's of light in their eyes. Taking Motrin regularly can cause rebound headaches, so if you've taken it alot lately, that could be your problem. I once had a headache for a month not realizing it was from the Motrin itself. Try Tylenol instead. If your headache is not getting worse, you have equal vision in both eyes (not losing sight) and your balance is not affected then it could be stress and an MRI is not necessary. Tension causes headaches. Ask someone for a massage of your neck, lower head and shoulders. Good luck.

Well I have migraine attack myself and I see floaters occassionally so I don't painic. But if your floaters do not go away after 72 hours, headache beacomes worse, or you experience anyone of the symptoms:

vertigo, ringing in the ears, tingling sensation at the hands or feet, nausea, and vomitting, go see a doctor immediately.
