Is there any permanent remedy for floaters? |
I am 20+ guy with myopia.I use glasses( -5 on both eyes).I've been seeing floaters on both my eyes for nearly 10 years. My eye doctor can not find any problem with my eyes.Though I came to know that floaters are harmless they seem nuisance to me.I want to know if there is any treatment available for eye floaters in india. Is that totally safe and effective? Is there any totally natural way to get rid of floaters? Also want to know about the effectiveness of LASIK surgery , correction of eye power through laser. You may have what is called an astigmatism. Meaning the surface of your cornea isn't smooth but wavy so the light patterns are distorted. In this case, prescription contact lenses can help. Floaters are a tough one to deal with. To my understanding, it's intricate surgery in which they remove all of the fluid from your eye channels, filter it, then return it. It's tissue which has degraded and is floating around in the cavity. you are absolutely right -floaters are best left ignored -simply because there isnt any other way to deal with them.of course these myopia ones.other kinds i.e. those of sudden origin or associated with diabetes or hypertension or some blood disorder should be investigated and upto an extent can be treated too.if ever u start having a sudden increase in their number or develop flashes of light too, immidiately go to your ophthalmologist. Floaters are inhomogeneities in the fluid in the eye with a different refractive index. They are like dust motes floating in air. They look bigger than they are. Generally they tend to retain their position. |
