Why do I have floaters?

The doctor said last year my eyes are ok. I don't even wear glasses. They showed up when I was like maybe 20 yrs or so and are still there. I think I got some more during pregnancy.
Is there anything I could do to prevent them? I just turned 30 btw. And my mom also got floaters when she was still young.
I know what they are and where they usually come from, but in my case....

Thanks.

i m not sure why u have them but i am writtin coz i have em too. i got mine right after i had my son. i hate em though coz sometimes its so blurry!!! sorry i couldnt be of any help.

You've been eating a lot of fiber.

you'll be ok, sounds hereditary in your case.

i can't remember a time when i didn't have floaters. it's like "dust" on your retina
