Flea Bites/Mosquito Bites on Face and Neck.?

Usually whenever i get a flea bite or mosquito bite its always on my face or neck. I checked websites about fleas and where are areas on your bodys that they bite a lot. It says legs no face or neck. I also went to Taiwan this past November and in Asia theres alot of mosquitos and i got more bites on my face then any other part of my body. The flea bites also ruin my facial apperence which ticks me off. If you know how to get rid of flea bites or mosquito bites fast may you please tell me some tips and also why they bite on my face and neck ): Thanks.

Cleanse the area with soap and water. Use some Benadryl cream and hydrocortisone cream on them. If you have no problems with oral Benadryl, take that also. Aveeno baths help in between medications. Do you have a pet with fleas? If so then you will need to de-flea the pet and probably get some products from the vet to kill them in your home and kill the eggs. The eggs can lay dormant for up to 18 months. Nasty little things. Our vet said that when they start biting humans they are desperate. Take care! If those OTC meds don't help, you will have to get some stuff from your doc.
Are you sure you don't have bedbugs or something else? Maybe they are really hives from an allergy to something. Good luck!

eek. best way is to prevent it buy killing the fleas in the first place or a repelent try something with deet in it.

A technique I learned was to take a paper towel or a washcloth and get it wet, then microwave it for about 30 seconds or until it's just a little too hot to touch barehanded. Take it out with a hot pot holder or another towel and hold one corner of it onto the bite, but make sure it's only the bite and not other parts of your skin. It will sting like heck for about ten seconds, but then when it stops stinging it won't itch anymore, and it will heal faster because you won't scratch it anymore. Even if you don't scratch it while you're awake, you probably do while you're sleeping. The reason it stings is that the heat is metabolizing (breaking down) the protein that the insect left in the bite, which is what makes it itch in the first place. I've been doing this for years and it hasn't failed me yet.
