Flea bites or Bed Bugs?

How can I tell the difference between flea bites and bed bug bites?

Bedbud bites are hard slightly raised red painful bites. 3mm or larger in size. Bedbugs make home in carpet, drapes, mattresses, underneath floorboards etc. They travel by hitching a ride on other peoples clothing or furniture
Fleas ride on animals fur and hair. Flea bites are smaller, itch a lot, do love hiding in clothing, biting anywhere they can, ankles are a favorite, til they infest everything at which point u will have many more bites all over.

I should think you'd feel or see bed bug bites happening when you're lying in bed. Fleas, however tend to get you on the ankles as you're walking, or jump on you when you're sitting. They're visible and after your blood.

Well you can usually see the fleas but not the bed bugs but the same effect on your skin. Vacuum your mattress!

Bed bugs follow a vein. There will be bites in a line along the arteries. Flea bites are at random and may be circular. They bite where ever a blood source may be possible.

Bed bugs bite is bigger and takes longer to heal they usually occur on the side you sleep on. Flea bits on the other hand are random but not as itchy. You can usually see bed bugs in the cracks of a mattress on the other hand fleas are supper hard to find unless they are on your pet dog or cat.
They can lie dormant in a rug for a long time also.
