My Yorkie is highly allergic to grasses & flea bites. I'm out of work . does anyone know of a home remedy ???? |
My yorkie is highly allergic to grasses & even one flea bite . she pulls and bites the hair out and gets big sores. I lost my job and can't afford a vet. does anyone know of a home remedy yup keep them inside and use pee pads. If you can't afford flea medication it's probably the best thing to do. You can get 600 pee pads for $75 on ebay. That lasts my dog for a year. Allergies can be serious so that's probably the cheapest alternative and the safest. You can buy "Front Line" at PetCo and other pet-type stores. I have a six pound chihuahua that does the exact same thing with flea bites. My vet is the one that recommeended the Front Line product to me. It's $50 for a 3 month supply. You use it once a month. It works so fast you won't believe it! you can make a spray made with lavender and rosemary extract. Wash her often and spray her with it. You can treat her sores and bites with tea tree oil diluted with olive oil or baby oil. |
