What are some quick effective home remedies for flea bites?

I have heaps of flea bites and they can itch at times. I need an effective home remedy for at least easing the pain and itchiness.

First, get your pet checked at the vet to prevent anymore fleas.
Second try some fo that calmine (sp) lotion or soak in the bathtub with milk in it

The burning end of a cigarette, Seriously...It works for mosquito bites, just burn it for like a second or 2.

Try calamine lotion and maybe a flea collar.

vinegar works quite well

seriously though you need to cure the flea problem as well

Calomine Lotion was we used as kids.
