What can you do for really bad flea bites??

my fiance has flea bites all over his legs like an allergic reaction he said it burns like fire, and sometimes it feels like needles poking him, we think he has an allergic reaction..

First, find out the source of the fleas and deal with the infestation. As for your fiance, I used calimine lotion (that pink stuff) and took an anti-histimine. Time is all it takes. I didn't have an allergic reaction and I felt like him. I was covered in flea bites from my friend's cat that slept in the same bed as me - at the end. My friend didn't know at the time and I woke up with every part of me covered in bites.

That's what I did. My friend's mom took the cat outside and dealt with the fleas. She then completely washed out the bedding and wiped down the room, mattress etc.

Hope he feels better soon!

Did he actually see tons of fleas on him biting him?

Your first answer from Sassi really nailed it. You HAVE to find the flea infestation problem and treat it pronto. The symptoms he is experiencing is a common reaction. Make sure to remove all animals when treating the area (house, office, car, wherever) before setting the bombs off and make sure to look for bombs that kill flea EGGS as well as the actual fleas themselves. If you have any birds, remember to take them out of the house as well, for an even longer period than what it says on the bomb. Calamine lotion and an antihistime (sp) is the answer, and believe it or not a Preperation H type of medication may also relieve some of the burning. Good Luck! Kat :)

Get rid of the fleas, get a pest controller in to fumegate your home, inside and out.

you sure its fleas? other bugs can do this like red bugs , or if he has worked around allot of stagnate water he may have morgellons fibers that feel like fire ants go to Morgellons.org for that one compare symptoms there cause docs don't know about that one , antibiotics sometimes help with that but it doesn't go away once exposed .
