Ways to stop flea bites?

My two cats have sadly brought fleas into the house. They've mainly infested MY bed. I need help- I'm eat up with countless bites from my toes to my chest. I don't want to throw the cats out but I think it's the only option. However, is there anything I can do now to stop them from biting me? How come I'm the only person in my house getting bit??? Help!

I am a Veterinarian Professor at Princeton and I suggest that you get some medicine from your vet that kills fleas and put that on ur pets. If fleas dont want ur pets, they'll leave ur house completley. Good Luck! Professor Scott Howard III

firstly- get a good flea treatment for them.

then wash all your sheets adn put your doonas, pillow etc, in the sun for the day.

Then, set off a flea bomb in your room. follow the directions on the pack- you probably wont be able to go in for a couple of hours...

this method has worked for several months until some forgets to give the cats their treatment...

You need to treat your cats, then your house or you'll never get rid of them. If you put the medicine on them, they'll bite your cats and die, but if they've laid eggs, it's just a never ending cycle. So, that's why you have to treat your house. Go buy a flea bomb and set it off.
