Flea bites? HELP?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!? |
When we first moved into this apartment, a year ago, we moved into fleas. We didn't know it, but I immediately began being bitten all over my ankles and legs. Then when it was winter, they were gone. I wasn't bitten. Now it's summer and I'm being bitten worse than ever. I had someone tell me that the fleas could be coming through our screen door from all the wild bunnies and geese that are behind our complex all the time, but I just want to stop itching! They can't get rid of them because they keep coming back! HELP? ADVICE? PLEASE! The bites actually hurt, and are swollen and sometimes if I itch them a little (not to where they are bleeding) they are excreting this clear yellow like liquid. Gross, I know. But now imagine you can't do anything about it. Yeah. Great. You need to thoroughly clean the apartment from top to bottom and spray for bugs once you are done. Be sure to shampoo the carpets and all of your furniture and mattresses. Once you get rid of them in the apartment you should be fine. If you do all of this and still have them then call a pest control person to come and take care of them. They are not coming through the screen though you probably still have them in the apartment and they have hatched now that warm weather is here. Also if more are coming into the apartment you would be bringing them in on your shoes if they are in the grass. Yes they can be coming in on your shoes, clothes etc. I would move. That is your only sure fire way out. |
