What can you do for the itch of flea bites on humans? |
fleas from pets are gone but the itch of the bites hurt get yourself an ammonia stick...and tap it on the bite! it stinks, but it works.... Thanks tried it and had to take my grand son to the hospital because it cause a bad reaction. Hospital said not to use an ammonia stick on flea bites as it causes different reactions on everyone. It also caused a reaction with hives on me. so i wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Report It calamine lotion helps. "AfterBite" is a good product for eliminating the itch of bug bites. It's essentially a "amonia" stick - smells awful, but works! mix a paste with baking soda and water and put it on it works for all kinds of itches and bites Try diluted white vinegar to neutralize the flea bite. It will sting a bit, but then the pain and itch should be gone. take a hot shower and soap it up also for tempary use pinch it really hard lanocane, the pink stuff you put on posin ivy, any itch relif cream scratch hydro-cortisone lavender oil dabbed on the bite will soothe the itch temporarily. Taking an antihistamine tablet will have a longer-lasting effect. I'm not sure if it works with flea bites, but it works wonders for mosquito bites.... Hope it helps: |
