Mysterious itchy bumps - like mosquito or flea bites?

I'll be sitting here watching tv or on Y Answers and suddenly my arm itches like crazy, or my hand, today my face, this is not all at once its like, one here, one there. But I have not seen one flea or mosquito, not even a flying ant. I live in a virtualy bug free zone. There's a bump there with red in the middle and it itches like CRAZY! Last week I scratched one so badly it bled. Any idea what's bitin me?
