My daughter is 2 and around her diaper area she has a lot of red bump bites. I do believe they are chiggers because of the white head on the spot and they make her itch. After awhile the spots of now left what looks like a purple bruise that might scar. Any help with this is much appreciated. Thank you. You need to not be so concerned if the chiggers leave a scar, but have you as a grown up ever had chigger bites they make you miserable they itch so bad and for a two year old that had to have made that poor baby suffer. please keep your baby out of the grasses that she is getting the chiggers. and for a 2 yr. old powder is about the only thing you can use to help the itch. u should take her to the dr it could be something more serious depending on where u leave and whether shes in day care u can try a over the counter drug it could be redbugs scabies or anything i think ur dr is the best answer. |
