What causes flatulence (fart) so much? and how do i minimize this condition?

I've been having this problem for last two years or so. I've been suffering from this flatulence problem, it occurs so rapidly and almost all the time, it is very embarrassing to me. I don't know what is causing me this problem, i don't have much understanding over this. Can someone tell me whats all this about? am i having a problem in my intestines and stomach?, Can you suggest me some methods to minimize this problem?, all kinds of help will be greatly appriciated.

eating hard to digest foods and not chewing your food into small enough bites help contribute to the flatulence.

Even on a healthy diet you will have SOME flatulence but not a great amount and it shouldn't be overly "aromatic".

Start avoiding high fatty foods and processed foods. Eat more raw veg and fruit. If you eat meat then choose lean and extra lean meats. Chew your food up well before swallowing it and eat at a leisurely pace. Don't wolf down your food--you take in a lot of air and that will contribute to belching.

If after changing your diet, you are still having problems with gas then you need to see your doctor. (changing your diet, you should see a quick -within 3-4 days--change in your bowel movements and your gas attacks)

Eat at Taco Bell

Change the way that you eat. I know that's a huge factor in how much gas that your body produces. Or you don't want to change that way you eat, just get Gas-X and that should help.

There are many things which can bring about gas...most of them foods...Beans, cabbage, broccoli, too much fiber intake. You may want to see your physician, they may have some suggestions for you to try to curb this problem. Try taking a enzyme product called Beano, It helps prevent you from getting gas in the first place.

Actually, it means your a healthy. Try beano.

check w doc.
also consider-overeating can casue this or eating foods that dont agree with your system-You can try for instance, eliminating sugars and starches-esp gluten containing items and see if it makes any difference. Also milk products that have a lot of lactose could be a culprit.Things like yoghurt or pure ice creme have little lactose, so it doesnt have to be all the dairy products.
Too many fiber filled foods all at once can casue this too-like a bunch of veges and fruits all on one day, also very little exercise Try some changes in you diet and write down a food diary and then write down if you had much gas that day. Some people find a lower carb diet(no bread or pasta etc) totally eliminates this issue, but try those other suggestionst and decide for yourself

As we age, ALL of our systems work less efficiently. You're asking specifically about the digestive tract. Food fermenting there cause a buildup of gas. This gas is released in the form of flatulence which can be very offensive to our noses as well as our psyche. Efficient elimination becomes a priority. Eliminating the waste products will help our body NOT build up a coating in the bowel which hampers absorption of nutrients.

Hoping this helps,
The Muse
