Flatulence ?


I have recently been having trouble with gas. Recently, I accidentally let one go which broke the sound barrier. Fortunately, my husband and I were alone at home. Still, I was Soooooo humiliated. I do not eat a lot of gassy foods and my diet has not changed. My husband either makes a light joke or says nothing. Still, I am not feeling real sexy lately because of this. Any ideas?

Gas is a symptom of PMS.

Go to the Doctor and tell him to sew up your Colon.

take "beano" and there will be no gas

I'm stumped. They say that the average human being farts approximately 18 times a day. Uh I guarantee I double that. Always have,always will is what I come to beleive. No matter what I eat I still fart all the time. I could almost fart on command! So good luck with whatever you try,maybe beano or something,never tried it tho.

You need to go see your doctor and discuss your diet and any medication you are taking.

Your digestive bacteria is out of whack. Start eating lots of yogurt with live active cultures or taking acidphillus capsules daily to get it healthy again. Those avtiva yogurt commercials you see on TV???? Well that is exactly what that stuff is for..................your digestive bactercia.

If the bacteria of your colon get out of whack, you can get gas.If you have been eating a lot of sweets, or had antibiotics recently (in 3 mo's) it could throw off you digestive bacteria.Either get your self a pro-biotic formula at a local health food market or get some Dannon Activa and use that for 2 weeks. It should help clear it up.

Even though they aren't alwasy thought of as "gassy", dairy foods could be your problem here. Try taking them out of your diet for a week or two and see what happens then. Otherwise, evaluate your diet for things like, high fat foods, carbonated soda, high-fiber vegetables....you say you're not eating a lot of gassy foods but maybe you ARE eating one of these things and it's the culprit, try it and see.
