Flatulence during period?


During my period, I have a bloated abdomen and suffer from severe flatulence. It does does not smell, but I do pass wind a lot. I even feel my insides all gassy. How do I get rid of this effect?

I want to reduce the effects of passing wind (which are usually noisy but not smelly) and also reduce the weird movements/sensation that my tummy/abdomen experiences during my period. I know its all gas that is moving inside but how do I stop the gas build up?

You can try rubbing all over your stomach and your back to break it up and encourage it to come out. (when you're in a safe place!)

You get various tablet like things that claim to help with wind (windeze?). You could try some of those but I don't know if they only work for food related gas.

I take it when I get a sore chest and stomach (from wind) but either way it makes me burp it out lol. Or, the pain&fluttering just eventually goes away. So I guess it's doing its job.

What sort of stuff do you eat? Maybe that isn't helping matters. I know it seems all sorts of food give you gas though, especially the healthy foods like fruit veg and beans. Try drinking green tea or other herbal teas as they aid digestion and settle your stomach. Green tea and peppermint is good for me but i've not tried any others.

Unless you can live without muscles you can't. Cramps are just that. The cramping of muscles. I bet when you do sit ups that sometimes you fart too. It's because you are compressing everything in that area. If the area is compressed so small, the air only has one place to go!

Lots and Lots of water a quick stretch in the am to give your stomach a pull (dont know why but it works)

you cant, believe me ive tried, its just your bodies way of dealing with the change in hormones, the wind has to come out!
