Are there any Crohn's pts. taking Humira for fistulas? |
For Crohn's pts. only: how long have you been on it, did you experience any side effects, is it expensive, and anything else you wish to add. thank you. cambria, I am already on maintenance meds-Entocort, Remicade but it failed, 6MP but my white count was down to 1. so I know it is already approved for Crohns. The FDA approved it per the CCFA website (that is where ppl with IBD get the latest info on treatments). I too am suffering from fistula's (I have several). I have just spoken with my Gastro guy and he has suggested Humira and upon conclusion of all my testing I may be going to it. I also have Crohn's.. but I take Asocol (mesalamine). I've taken my med for around 3 years now. I have noticed mild joint pain - but that could be due to just getting older too. |
