My mom's Fistula keep busting open HELP!!!!!? |
okay my mom have lupus so she goes to dialysis's which means she has a fistula. Its been happening more lately her fistula bust opens and there would be blood everywhere. The hospitals out here do not specialize with this and her doctors keep sending her away. all they do is sew her arm up and let her leave. what should she do my mum also had kidney failure and a fistula, does your mum scratch and pick at hers? i know that my mum does and that can at times cause hers to open and bleed. because of dialisis and the drugs they have to take, as you probably already know they can get allot of skin problems - sensetive skin and saws. if she is doing this then keep telling her not to, eventually she will stop. Take her to a Different Nephrologist, soon!. |
