My boyfriend got anal fistula. He was operated last December.?

This week he is scheduled for operation again since it recur. Would it keep coming back? Is there a possibility that he will be totally cured? Please I need help. I love my boyfriend but I am confused if I will marry him in this situation since I also have responsibities shouldered in my family.

Yes there is a possibility that it can recur. The operation will leave a scar and this is a weak area in the skin and muscle. If it comes back again it is most likely to affect that weaker area.
