What is rectum fistula?

What is rectum fistula?

It is a tunnel that burrows from your rectum to the skin or into other adjacent organs. Usually begins as an ulcer or other type of infection. A rather unpleasant thing to have indeed.

It's an opening between the rectum and the outside, normally starting as an infection or sore, then turning into a fistula.
