I have a vagina fistula and will need surgery?

can anyone tell me if they had this or know what kind of surgery they will have to do.as i have no idea.thanks for any information .

I looked it up, it is usually very repairable. I hope this helps. best.

It should be a straightforward job. You'll have a general anaesthetic and the repair will be done whilst you're asleep.

You'll be sore once the anaesthetic wears off, but you'll be given painkillers. You may be in hospital overnight then go home the next day.

Take warm baths with sea salt added when you get home and take your painkillers. If it gets very sore then you can apply some ice in a bag to cool the area, but I don't think it's that painful.

You'll feel much better once it's been done.
