First aid.....?

well i just fell over outside my house, and the cut is about 10 cm's long and pretty deep and it's poring out blood should i go to the hospital and get them to check it out? will i need stitches? and will they bandage it? i'm only 14 help me!!!!!!!!!!!

tell an adult near you to look at it,
if no adult is avalible, clean the wound with water and light soap, anti bacterial if avalible,
if you can see "meat" when you wash the blood off then you need to go to an emergency room asap, if anything is stuck in there like clothing or dirt it can get infected and that can make things alot worse. use bactine, or idodine, or something that kills germs for now, even rubbing alcohol, it will but but could end up saving your leg,
chances are you might get a butterfly bandade, or a few stiches

go get it stitched up

10cms? I think that is about 4 inches. Get your butt to a doctor. Good luck.

Yes you should definitely go to the er. It will probably need stitches but there's a possibility that it will only need some butterfly bandages. Go get it checked. Don't take any chances.

Tell your parents to take you to an emergency room at the nearest hospital. It might be serious.

Sounds like you need stitches. Get a towel and, keep pressure on the wound. If you have butterfly closures, close up your wound until you can get to the hospital. Also keep ice on it to constrict the blood vessels.

10 cm's ??? Wow, that is a fairly bad cut. If this isn't a hoax and you haven't passed out from shock or blood loss...yes, you will need stitches.

Get off Yahoo, the Internet and seek a doctor. Do you want to keep bleeding? What ever is cut, wrap it tight and get out of there. Get a neighbor to help. Now!

I'm not buying it. I mean how are you typing spurting blood all over the keyboard

Put a clean towel or cloth on it and press down, not too hard, but hard enough to stop it from bleeding while you get yourself to the emergency room. They may or may not stitch it up depending on a number of things. They try not to if they don't have to. They certainly will clean it up properly so it doesn't get infected and may only use some type of bandaging. You will want to get a tetnus shot, too. Don't be afraid of a tetnus shot, it is much better than what can happen without one.

Try to keep the place where you are cut elevated. If on your arm, then hold it up. Don't let it drop down. Head cuts bleed like crazy, so don't let that freak you out. Tell the doctor what you cut yourself on, too. They may need your parent's permission, so get ahold of them.

tell ur parents to get u to the er u probly will need stitches.

It should be located in a central location. Where all can easily get to it. Get some kind of hard plastic cover to mount over it that they can remove easily to protect it from dust and debris.
