First aid??

Im looking for a 1st aid class that doesn't charge ridiculous prices, that teaches individuals. I also wish for that class to be in North East London (near N17)

thanks (only sensible answers)

Look for the nearest St John's Ambulance Brigade

st john ambulance do first aid courses look them up in your area

Why not enrol with the British Red Cross. It is a good organisation, you can make friends there, and learn first aid. They have branches in most major towns so check them out.

Give Waltham Forest College a phone call. They have night classes for First Aid - classes of about 8 adults............... bus from Hale End straight there................

If there is a local St John's ambulance or another similar organization, they charge small nominal fees. Another suggestion is to check with your employer. My employer certifies staff for no charge.

Check with your local Red Cross chapter.

Here in the US the Red Cross and YMCA teach first aid classes like those you mention.

Additionally, as a young man, I can remember being in the boy scouts. I know it sounds corney, but I learned SO much, including first-aid.

Good luck!

N17, why not give the North Mid a call they might run somethig or know someone.

St johns ambulance, would be worth a try.

Hi

I am a member of St John Ambulance, so of course there is only that organisation that I am going to recommend to you. If you are truly interested in First Aid, then why not look on the website and find a Division that is near to where you live. You only give them as much of your time as you can spare and for that you will get free training in all aspects of first aid, from the basics, to as far as you want to take it. In return you can give some of your spare time to go out on duty and help members of the public.

If you only want basic first aid training, then some Divisions do free Public first aid courses from time to time.

I find it a very rewarding hobby, so give it a try.

Good luck.

I run a First Aid at Work course with my company. I dont charge my employees unless they leave within 6 months of doing the course. I do OCCASIONALLY get outsiders and I do charge. We are based in Enfield.

If you want any more details email me
js@camelot.eu.com

It depends on what kind of course you are after. My local college does a course for 拢49. It teaches you the basics but you don't end up a qualified first aider. St Johns also do a course. Details of the course and the nearest venue can be found on the internet
