First aid advice given on Y answers?

Would you trust a taxi driver, mechanic, drug dealer or madman to give you first aid advice?

Why ask here then?
You don't know who answers your question do you?

You have got to check the answer reference.
Recently saw one answer that suggested putting a cream on a serious burn. Totally wrong.

1st aid courses are expensive, and not all people can spare the time or the cash. Report It

If they seem to know what they are talking about, I'd trust them... mechanics tend to have many accidents and should know a lot about taking care of their cuts and bruises, drug dealers often are quite intelligent and non-users themselves, madmen and taxi drivers are touch and go but can know quite a lot about many things.

I don't want to live in your scared little world, lol.

Because some times it's just common sense, which some people need a lot of here

there are people in the medical profession who enjoy using their knowledge and helping where they can.....some people may be able to help through references to personal experience......

There are Drs. and EMT's and Paramedics and Nurses on here. If they give good advice I would trust it. I don't care who answers my questions as long as they know what they are talking about and any advice you get on here you take with a grain of salt. If you don't like the advice you get, don't take it, better yet, don't ask for advice if you feel you can't get good advice here.
